Theres two #LolitaFashion stores in my city now but they're importing designer brands from Harajuku and dang this stuff *costs*.
Also it's mostly Sweet #Lolita styles which is like, the direct opposite of my interest (gothic and #egl all the way!) so.
I'd like to see Gothic and Traditional styles at more approachable prices even if it's not going to be direct designer stuff. I'm more into looking good than showing off how much I paid for a cloth.
Suppose I could learn to sew.

have you looked into taobao resellers? taobao brands are like... 'chinese indie' but gaining more and more popularity. not the same exact snob appeal as BTSSB or Angelic Pretty, but more variety, and MUCH more reasonable prices, as well as a lot more of them willing to take custom size orders!
lolitawardrobe and Devil Inspired are too really good taobao resellers to check out!
@wigglytuffitout yup! I've been using Taobao since the beginning via a delivery agent. Trouble is finding quality stuff - many of them have gorgeous product photos and... less than gorgeous results in reality.
I've been drooling at Devil Inspired stuff but I have some trouble with their SEVERELY HIGH shipping fees. Like, seriously high. Tried discussing it with them but that's their only shipping option to my area.
@polychrome god yeah that's the big problem. navigating taobao on your own can be really tricky, which is why i've been just sticking to lolitawardrobe for now (though Devil Inspired is on my list because OHH MY GOD I DIDN'T KNOW THE SOUFFLE SONG MUCHA PRINT IS CUSTOM SIZEABLE AAAAAAAAAA HOLY SHIT AAAA). lolitawardrobe's shipping might be more reasonable but unfortunately a lot of it is that they are leery about lesser shipping options in terms of missing tracking and so forth...
