@Zero_Democracy i realize this is probably meant to be setup for shitpost but my lint trap of a brain might know two possible answers

1. with how proper cowboy boots fit, they change your gait a little in a way that some people find more comfortable

2. they're still pretty good waterproof footwear at the end of the day that goes up past the ankle, and most are made of leather which is resilient as fuck if properly cared for - two really good qualities for farm/ranch work
