Interesting - my doctor recommended I get the new shingles vaccine even though they (my provider) don't give it out, though my local CValgreens has it. Apparently the CDC is recommending people over 50 get it.

i have heard that you should expect 2-3 days of it hitting you hard - but that it then confers much better immunity than the previous shingles vaccines
shingles is fucking miserable, if your insurance is paying for it because you're in that recommended zone, 100% absolutely get it, it's an easy way to dodge nerve damage
