@druid i think the reconciliation depends on the first statement being a rebuttal to you there - the idea that sex work is automatically soul-damaging, and selling "the things inside you that cannot be replaced".
the idea is that sex work is *just* work. all work is soul-sucking - but sex work is not egregiously or especially so, is the point being made. it should exist outside of the idea that it is especially tainted, dirty, or harmful due to being sex work.
@druid if you consider sexual aspects to work to be especially bad - you also have to take a moment and consider where you draw the line. if sharing that intimacy for profit is harmful, what about actors? are they harming themselves that way? what about people who draw racy photographs? can you share those sexy anime girls that were surely drawn for profit (even just via patreon) and be sure that you are not paying for someone selling "the things inside [them] that cannot be replaced"?

ofc this all depends on the definition of "things inside that cannot be replaced", mind you, because if you're taking that extremely literally, now would be a real good time to have a sit down and learn some anatomy - real anatomy, not hentai anatomy - about what the hymen is, what it signifies, and how it *naturally* sees itself out most of the time.
