i think sometimes people easily forget online that here on mastodon the tools have faces behind them, that it's far more a grassroots effort than "oh someone's getting paid to deal with this so i can mess around with it", and it ends up with people making messes or trying to make messes with the expectation someone else will clean up later

telling them to gtfo for a little bit instead of drawing on the table with ketchup is very valid
