ofc the times i've seen that the autistic-kid-mommy-bloggers have been all "but how do i keep my child from eating the cooked, colorful spaghetti i made for him to play in?!!"

ma'am you made a kiddie pool full of food. just call whatever your kid eats an appetizer and it's gonna be fine even if there is food coloring ok

@wigglytuffitout *stares at this blankly*

if you cooked the spaghetti for the kid yourself then just... let him eat it....? i mean you know where it's been

@wigglytuffitout i can think of far worse and equally likely things in the world than "my child is putting entirely edible playthings in his mouth and eating them"

@InspectorCaracal out of "things kids eat or at least attempt to eat" i feel like colored spaghetti is pretty on the "this is fine" side of the spectrum honestly

@wigglytuffitout right?? and like that aside how confusing is it for the poor kid to try to learn like, okay, THIS spaghetti is bad to eat, but THIS spaghetti is bad to NOT eat

@wigglytuffitout just let the kid eat the spaghetti don't make the abritrary rules of life harder than they already are <.<
