pokemon mystery dungeon gates to infinity isn't actually incredibly awful
it's just a meh game following directly on the heels of a really really really fucking good game and the difference between the two makes it seem shittier
@aradinfinity tbh this may be a reason why i'm ok with it, because not having every single pokemon means less of the little shits for me to remember lmao
@aradinfinity i may be the only person who actively sees that as a plus instead of a negative LOL
trying to remember every single little pokemon is really hard, especially in a pmd game where there's no guide (as there is in sun/moon) if something is effective etc. after you see a pokemon once
