new year's resolutions:

-to expand on my routine of taking care of myself. not just washing my face every day, but also brushing/flossing/tongue scraping, and neti pot, and so on.

-to go to a meetup in #lolitafashion in real life! even if it's just me and non-lolita friends being patient with me!

-to write another chapter of my pet fanfic Masquerade.

-to write at least three articles/reviews on sweetdisabled.com!

well, i used the laser hair removal thing on my nipples and haven't spontaneously combusted, so i'm gonna count that as a win.

@Tenshi@yiff.life i know what you mean. i think it may be a function partially of masto as a whole having less people in it.

i think it also might be a cultural thing of masto being decentralized? whereas twitter is everyone all in one room, masto is more like parlors and dining rooms.

so i guess with the above the fix is mostly to do some of the social grist-in-the-mill work of circulating around, introducing yourself in various spheres, and so on. couldn't hurt, anyway?

....actually i wonder if i could jury rig a thing to do my legs with it.

part of the problem with shaving my legs right now is just fucking reaching. the remington ilight widget requires a firm button press on the top but i can probably... idk, there's got to be some lever or something where i could stick it on the end of a stick and do a trigger pull for the button press...
