@cozykaffe@snouts.online i haven't ordered from them before but from what i've heard of friends, it may be worth contacting customer service
it takes awhile for them to make things sometimes - but i've only ever heard of them having stunningly good customer service, so i wouldn't be surprised if you get an immediate answer of "hey, sorry it's taking so long! here's the queue of orders we have, here's where you are in that queue, and here's the estimated time to get your order out!".
ok it may be petty but i'm linking the fucking thing so all y'all can see this and also make fun of it https://www.facebook.com/sephora/posts/10156954784454405
just. hire a black model (BUT MAKE SURE SHE'S LIGHT-SKINNED THO). have the shot be smearing foundation on her face (BUT MAKE SURE THE FOUNDATION'S TOO LIGHT FOR HER THO).
wow. much woke. so inclusive. good job on that everybody
(i mean jfc you know it's bad when my the-beacons-are-lit-gondor-calls-for-aid white ass goes OH THE CAUCASITY)
like even aside from all of the obvious institutionalized racism
i realize that i can only say that because i'm sitting upon a throne of privilege but bear with me
"we have foundations to match anybody!" is a message quickly undermined by "for example, see this model smearing CLEARLY THE WRONG SHADE FOR THEM ON THEIR FACE"
i couldn't resist making a snarky comment on facebook and now have gathered some likes from PoC but two very offended white people have shown up
WHAT'S WRONG WITH BEING WHITE nothing karen it's just like bragging about how you have a very diverse menu where you can go around the world on just the apps and your idea of exotic is a hamburger... *with cheese on it*
WOW THAT'S THE POT CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK debbie i'm white as hell idk what you expect me to do about that. i still see bs tho
facebook keeps showing me a sephora ad where they're trying to brag they have new inclusive ~foundation shade for everyone~ going on
problem is
the PoC they are using in the commercial are all approximately the same shade of Medium Beige, smack in the middle of even non-inclusive foundation ranges. like, "can walk into a CVS 20 years ago no problem".
also the last model is smearing obviously too light foundation on her face to boot
Amazing.

4. the UPS that my powered recliner is hooked up to runs out of power before the power comes back up, because i sat down and unthinkingly put my feet up. Whoops.
@it_was_inevitable guys i think the dwarves just invented WWE wrestling
@maya oh shit i have NOT heard of ooblets
i'm guessing it's not coming for switch (though i can hope! god bless nintendo opening the switch up to indies honestly), but i'm now VERY interested!!! i'll have to look also to see if there's any multiplayer -probably not, but one of my friend groups has been looking for a good "we can all play this together" game (and this might be nicer than "fallout 76 private server" lol)
in which a wigglytuff has a political grumble
basically it's all culminating in me being glad that i'm too disabled to go to church currently because if given the opportunity, i could give a real fuckin banger of a sermon on "we are sodom and gammorah, and no it has nothing to do with them queers, it has everything to do with the actual stated reasons that they got God-nuked, now let me tell you about rape culture and all the ways Trumpism is idolatrous evil"
in which a wigglytuff has a political grumble
the idea of actually applying your stated values to all aspects like that is something that shocks and confuses the vast fucking majority of evangelical christianity in america
as is the idea of *thinking* about these things, but that's another rant
anyway i think that an article running the numbers, from a catholic, going "i have to vote for warren because so many more people are going to be killed under repubs" is valuable for some folks to hear
in which a wigglytuff has a political grumble
like i may think they're wrong
but they at least are attempting to apply the same rule in more than just one aspect of policy. so pro-life doesn't mean just no abortion, it means no death penalty, it means healthcare for all, etc etc. i even appreciate the catholic priest who argues that you cannot be pro-life and own a gun for defense - because you can't be pro-life if you've already made up your mind to kill somebody.
in which a wigglytuff has a political grumble
did my daily facebook rant, found a pretty good article that i think will actually maybe get through to some people - a catholic hardline pro-lifer (yes yes i know) who is running the numbers and going "if we're actually being pro-life, republican parties are fucking SHIT for this in SO MANY WAYS"
i vehemently disagree with hardline pro-lifers but i at least appreciate the catholic folks out there going for it holistically with equal logic applied
@eightbitsamurai@elekk.xyz i feel like at this point a biologist could just casually stroll in to their offices and go
"heyyyy y'all know that our cells are constantly regenerating and replacing themselves, right? so it's about seven years give or take for a complete turnover"
and just watch heads explode
