like, this is totally the sort of game i used to play with my toys. you build a town, you have them go on adventures, stuff like that.

i adore how it looks! i think it's pitch-perfect. it looks gorgeous and i think there's been some very canny design going on here. all the simplifications and translations of those simplifications-borne-from-necessity whisper "this is a fun toy, come play with us".

i actually adore how this game looks. i think that there's actually been some very canny art direction, mirroring the art direction of link's awakening. i know some people will complain about things looking too smooth and too plastic, but with that plus the shiny hair... i think it's actually perfect. it looks like a little doll, with hair like a barbie, and this is a little tableau with it.

i love it! it's a perfect toybox aesthetic!

witcher 3 on switch is exciting!!! maybe now i will actually play it instead of just... having it in my gog library lmfao

botw sequel is unexpected but also quite exciting!!!!

i didn't expect sword/shield to be multiplayer-ish like that but it looks delightful. the details from the treehouse all make sense and are exciting! but it's totally my shit regardless lmao

all in all - i'm happily content with this! nintendo definitely won e3 for me lol.

i didn't get the thing i was hoping for, but i know that it's a long shot. i actually expect splatoon 3 to be announced after the final splatfest when peak hipe is ripe for harvest. fingers crossed they're not going to go with "one splatoon game per console, wait until there's Switch Deluxe".

animal crossing being delayed makes me a little pouty but it looks like some neat stuff, crafting seems like a good fit for it, so i'm happy with waiting!
