you know what we really need a reboot of, though?

Wishbone

yes i know we'll all have to admit that the original dog actor has died and it's awful, but like... imagine Wishbone For Adults.

i don't mean dark and gritty.

i just mean that it's a dog in a costume giving you a summary of, like, The Great Gatsby and Heart of Darkness and such

alternatively, everyone's trying to emphatically ignore the, uh, reboot of ReBoot that happened and i still haven't watched out of sheer exhaustion in my very soul about it

Show thread

but i'm just sayin', i feel that there's a rich vein of jokes to be mined by someone more appropriate to pick up that pickaxe about how Hexadecimal is downright a patron saint in some corners of Mastodon, given that Mastodon is 80% transbians who work in tech

that's got to be as far as my cis ass goes but. it's definitely there my friends

pictured below, with eye contact kinda: Hexadecimal. i feel like one picture will do most of the illuminating if you're totally lost on this concept

Show thread

i have to admit part of me wonders why i don't see more hornt for Hexadecimal from ReBoot around here, but maybe the people who i think would be on that shit like white on rice are also blocking out memories of early CGI animation, and: that's fair.

just in case y'all thought i was kidding with the "irresponsible amount of stickers"

two friends have made the mistake of saying i can send them stickers

i am sending each of them a quite frankly irresponsible amount of stickers

i regret nothing

i now have my geekchic lipsticks i ordered, AND the magnetic eyeliner and eyelash set from a friend's recommendation

so tomorrow (or maybe even late tonight depending on spoons) i should totally have some fun putting on makeup

that's way above my current cosplay weight class, so to speak (bc i don't even know how to fucking sew yet, much less how to do FANCY TRANSFORMING COSTUMES), but i'm gonna keep that one in mind

i'd also really love to cosplay Revan but like... multiple layers of black... and i'd probably be cosplaying at DragonCon... in Georgia... in the summer... while you're walking everywhere............ That's A Bad Time

at least as a great fairy i could be much cooler lmao

Show thread

actually, since we don't really see them from waist-down, i bet if you went for a big full skirt, you could have the outmost later/overskirt be shaped like the petals of their flowers

then just work out some clever way to gather them all up quickly and hold them all together, have the flower color be on the reverse of the skirt, hold it above your head and then let it all go to 'pop out'

maybe some fishing line to easily gather all the petal tips together...?

Show thread

for real though, i love the great fairy outfits and aesthetic in botw fucking tons

i know they're kinda just Giant instead of Large as in the plus-sized way (though with their figures i'm pretty sure i'd still see them at the lane bryant clearance rack as i'm browsing it), but they just... are so unapologetic about taking up space and being who they are

kinda want to cosplay that someday

............but only if i work out how to do a transforming costume so i can come out of the flower lol

signs i'm a bad leftist

i'm still far too sore over so many douchebag "never hillary so i'm voting for trump" bernie bros to feel like i ever want to see someone pulling constant RAH RAH BERNIE SANDERS right now

@wigglytuffitout it's like the Dresden Files except instead of being a wizard private detective involved in the supernatural urban underground and crazy fairy shit, you're like

you run a tack shop and read auras and sell supernatural supplies in the back room to your Special Clientele

@wigglytuffitout adorn your horse's show tack with purified crystals to smooth out the energy vibes while in the ring

i feel like i have just seen a downright terrifying level of Horse Girl that i can never aspire to achieve

if Weaver D's, famous soul food restaurant thanks to reference by the band R.E.M., has a slogan of "automatic for the people", does that mean i can say it's good leftist praxis to go eat some fried chicken there

oh oh oh and the kicker i just realized

since you have to use a shopping service, and they require the URL to do that, it's not actually a case of digging through browsing history with great difficulty.

it's about the same difficulty as looking up a past order on amazon, a la "oh yeah i've really enjoyed this bodywash i got, let me link you the exact one". at *most*.

honestly not an amount of effort you should expect $10 on patreon for imho, lol

Show thread

like i know capitalism isn't very popular around here and for good reason, but sometimes i just get rather FOR GOD'S SAKE IF YOU'RE DOING THIS, DO IT WITH AT LEAST THE BARE MINIMUM OF TRYING TO DO IT RIGHT

also there is no need to be rude to people asking a question you should expect (and in fact did expect, thus your policy)

either that or this person on twitter is actually the Dick's Last Resort of kawaii tat, who knows

Show thread

like if it's just an excuse, don't pull this backhanded catty run-around. also it shouldn't exactly be a shocker if you show off something cool you bought for cheap, your audience might go "oh wow! where'd you get it?"

however if this person's already posted the info on patreon... then there's no need for a catty run-around! that's a potential customer! for god's sake! sell them shit! sell them the shit you have already made! the content you have produced! INSTEAD OF INSULTING THEM!

Show thread

like, i may be coming from a very western lolita fashion point of view here - which is that taobao is the thing we all tangle with from time to time, and because we are all passionate about the fashion, we're happy to exchange information

if the idea is that you're trying to discourage the pain in the ass that is delving through your browsing history - fair dues. but just say that instead of "bitch sign up for my patreon, smh you guys expect shit for free?"
