This dull haze in your whole body and head after a blow, just like when you trip over your feet in the mid of running - just way more intense. Well, you survived, so that's awesome. But fuck this pain!
It subsides, though, just as fast as the radiation of your rescue capsules outer hull.
When you wake up on an unknown planet in the midst of a rocky dessert there is at least the very slim chance, you got to a bad spot and there is lush vegetation and clean water just around the corner.

The sailor had heard the tales, and so he feared for his life as he felt himself drawn towards the shore. But the song was too enticing, and so he found himself on the shore, searching for the creature. He finally saw the siren, a woman of exquisite beauty. But she had given no sign of welcome.
And so he halted, sat down at a distance. Listened.
Her song ended, and he felt her eyes on him.
“Will you kill me, now?”
The siren laughed.
“We only kill those who know not their place.”

there is the fattest robin i have ever seen on our deck rn. it's having a bath in the rainwater collected in a snow shovel that got left out.
"And do you know what that button is for?" she asked and gently put a kiss on their neck.
"No." - "Do you want to find out?"
"Is it dangerous?" they turned around to face her.
"Turn around and close your eyes," she whispered, "it is worth it."
First, there was a low rumbling and mechanical klicking, then the long scraping of cylinders opening the blast doors.
"Open your eyes again."
They was stunned silent from taking in the unfolding scenery.
"The smaller moon I named after you."
