Between Resident Evil 2 and Sunless Skies, the end of the month is looking pretty damn nice

@Zelli honestly, I expect that it'd be pretty boring if I were to do that 😅

witty commentary while playing games isn't really my strongest point tbh

@Chel
It sounded like you spent a lot of time screaming during the demo if @Scarly would have me believe it. That would be entertaining xD

@Zelli @Scarly there was only one loud yelp, actually Dx

everything else was mostly just me cursing wildly and occasionally shit talking the enemies

@Zelli @Scarly it sounds pretty boring to listen to, to me :T

@Zelli @Scarly anyway be more excited about sunless skies that shit is gonna be crazy

@Zelli @Scarly sooo

store.steampowered.com/app/304 it's a sequel to this, one of my fave games

it's... er... it's weird? but fun. basically a sorta open ended exploration game with a focus on atmosphere and lore. the game mechanics are pretty slow paced, and probably boring to most people.

but, as far as story stuff goes, I love it - the writing is lovely. uh... crap, I'm not really doing a good job of describing it am I?

but yeah, it's the sequel to something that I really friggin love XD

@Zelli @Scarly it's apparently $5 on sale atm

if you do ever play it, do yourself a favor and turn perma death off - while I get why they wanted to have it (prevent save scumming, make your decisions truly matter), the game is long enough and has enough content that it'd be utterly irritating to have to start over too many times

@Chel

@Scarly

I dislike permadeath as a mechanic for any game deeper than a dungeon roguelike tbh. Will do (:

Follow

@Zelli @Scarly yeah, pretty much

some of the ambitions (basically your main game objective/story, there are several to pick from) can take a while to complete, so it'd kinda suck if a moment's inattention costs you hours and hours of game time x_x
