I just stumbled upon this definition of Left Wing at the Urban Dictionary. It is quite accurate.

Well, now I'm old enough to be a grandpa, and if I'm not socialist, I'm socialist-adjacent.
@ScottSoCal There are definitely socialists and other leftists but the spirit of this definition is correct considering how small the left is in the US.
@ScottSoCal I'm sure that Socialist grannies are a tiny percentage of grannies overall--especially in Utah.
