Some of these questions made me go "Hmmmmm...". Indeed, why _do_ we use "disorder" instead of "condition". "Disorder" implies a malfunction, "condition" implies a state of being.

I use my differences in positive ways to help me achieve things that someone who doesn't have those differences* would really struggle... *super sensitive hearing, movement detection, nuanced sense of smell, skin sensitivity, hyper focus, hyper memory recall, face blindness, echolalia, hyper mobile joints, autistic stoicism, low oxytocin, naturally high serotonin...
People often say they would love to do what I do... but the reality is they wouldn't actually enjoy it 🤣💝

It takes decades to learn to use the differences, and apply them when and where they're appropriate.
Hyperfocus is useful when I'm cranking something out on a deadline. Not as useful when I'm at home, watching TV, and the hubs wants to tell me something, but I don't even hear him.
