I'll be a stick in the mud and say the Link's Awakening artstyle looks too close to Wind Waker than Link's Awakening. It very much is in line with the whole "copy an aesthetic until it doesn't even make sense anymore" telephone game thing Zelda as a franchise has now. I don't hate it, but hmmm...

Aaahhhhh I gotcha. Didn't realise they were remaking it. Then again oracle of seasons/ages and Four Swords adventure both had kinda proto toon link art styles

I am now finally aware of the links awakening remake and

I kinda want it. It looks doofy but charming in it's cuteness. The weird "toy" style is surprisingly nice on reflection
