@lizardsquid oh gosh i just use broad transcription because otherwise i'm just gonna be spending all day figuring out how to represent the exact sounds and making weird noises at my computer screen
@kinsey even so: my dialects vowels are arranged completely differently to yours, so reading your IPA takes me a little longer because I have to imagine saying it in an accent

and (unlike for American English), I can use /ɹ/ with relative confidence because it's the only "r-like" sound in my dialect, and almost never occurs after a vowel.
