ah my brain is trying to do its linguist thing about korean and particularly hangul

i heard hangul was designed to be particularly accessible

i don't know how to order the sub-characters within the groups of characters, which order to read/write them in yk, but my brain is latching onto what shapes mean which sounds a little bit

@pan they're basically just read left to right and top to bottom - the vowel of the syllable is in the middle, and is usually some kind of line or bent line thing

@pan (oh and for learning, I know you need to stifle it now because of stuff, but you can actually learn the entire system in a few hours, even if you don't know any korean words)

@lizardsquid i know! plus i'm great at picking up languages! it's so tempting you don't have to make it seem more tempting XD
