Thought: If you retweet one account a lot - say, the account of your game studio where you show off all your interesting work - people will get used to that one account being on their timeline and won't filter it out as "miscelaneous retweets" when they skim.

This is true for our experience, at least - as an account reoccurs on our timeline, we get used to it and consider it "real content", while a lot of retweets get ignored as unknown sources.
Does this fit your experience?

@Fenreliania yeah, I get this a little bit - sometimes I click on an account and am surprised that I'm not following them already!
