I wonder what the origin of the "order" of the English alphabet is...
Like, I know it traces back to the "order" of the latin script, which traced back to the "order" of greek, etc etc
But when was the original order first decided?
And who decided it? And Why?
@lizardsquid much of the order, bar some letters that were introduced later or moved around for some reason, goes all the way back to phoenecian! i don't think we know why the phoenecian alphabet was in that order, it may have been arbitrary
