can i just say
laughing gas is fucking awesome
i had so many realizations while on that shit
about my brain and life and just... everything
i resolved to do my best in life, just generally
but also specifically going up to people and talking to them at the next pride event
it was the chillest goddamn thing lol
it was like
"be honest. we're not gonna die, probably. even if we give up for a while. the real choice ahead of us is between the same middling shit as always, or actually improving our life and making the most of it. a decision to thrive, not just survive"
that's when i realized
i need to do my best
the whole time i was on laughing gas i just wanted to stop and tell the dentists "THIS SHIT IS FUCKING AWESOME" but obviously that wasn't possible thankfully lmao
i felt so jovial
like i could take on the world
it was like being drunk but with none of the bad parts
i felt so far away in a good way
they asked me how the laughing gas was
and i just started giggling
and they were like "ohhhh you like it"
and i laughed some more 😂
"sure, you can give up and slip into the deceptively comforting warmth of depression and loneliness. but then guess what bitch! when you don't wanna feel that way anymore, you're still gonna. and it's gonna suck clawing your way out yet again"
