the fediverse where people supposed to be the once caring the most about #opensource and libre software is yet the place where I hear the most often being spoken about #discord.
Why is that? Throughing cause of some features the own morality over board?
What is it that you use dicord insead of some opensource plattform?
...I can't tell, I never used discord and never will.
And what is it that you promote discord over ooensource plattforms?

@paulfree14 I only have discord because so many people have invited me to it - and tbh, I don't know any open source alternatives, even though I wish I did
@lizardsquid there is jitsi as a video conference software.
It can be used alone or being implemented in other chat plattforms.
can be used with matrix, movim, rocketchat....
