Honestly fuck the Souls series for what they've done to narratives in video games

I'm gonna need an explanation for this because I haven't played any games *newer* than Dark Souls
@lizardsquid So you know that thing Dark Souls does where it has literally no story unless you go delving into lore drops and item descriptions and whatnot and no one really KNOWS what the story actually is?
That caught on. Now games just DO that and it sucks.
@lizardsquid I don't know! It really ruins a lot of games tbh cos it takes a very precise hand to do that well and most people don't know how to do it well.
