so apparently one mutual acquaintance of mine abused another in a prior relationship within a particular social circle of mine
I'm not close enough to the victim for it to be even remotely appropriate for me to call out the perpetrator of this and I can't help them personally but at the same time no one else has brought this up in the entire time I've been in said circle either and I honestly don't know what to do

for the record, if you somehow know who and what I'm talking about here I -highly- recommend you don't turn this into a public discussion either because -holy fuck- please don't, but... fuck
on one hand I'm entirely within a position to shake things up completely but also every move feels like a losing one for probably everyone involved
