@kibi No lie I briefly considered actually putting the thorn into my written language years and years ago.
I quickly gave up because that's a lot of work, but it was something I thought about.
@witchfynder_finder i think thorn everywhere can be way too cumbersome (or just… inaccessible is more my concern lol) but i think the "standard" thorn abbreviations of

the: þᵉ
this: þˢ
aren't significantly worse than like, writing an ampersand for "and"
