@chosafine@instance.business @witchfynder_finder I've found ONE decent place online, and they've only got a few languages (saysomethingin.com)
the rest of them focus way, way too much on memorising vocab or on learning the writing system, which makes it incredibly difficult to learn the language
@lizardsquid @chosafine Yeah, for sure. The way I see it, sites like Duolinguo or Memrise or whatever else are really good once you have the basics down. They're not gonna teach you to conjugate verbs or decline nouns or how cases work or anything like that, but once you can do those things and you just need to expand your lexicon, that's where you go.
