i don't like the "current standard" sunset lesbian flag. i don't feel it represents me. lydia's reasoning for this flag (which has since been reordered for color cohesion) speaks much more to me than "let's make the shitty person's flag slightly different" http://archive.is/0rFRD
that being said, if you use the sunset lesbian flag, you do you! nobody has to conform to anything. that's the whole point.
one thing i do wonder about tho
i don't think i've ever heard any voices from lesbians older than 30-35 in regards to "the official lesbian flag"
it always seem to be the younger internet crowd
i just wonder what they think of all this.
use whichever symbols of pride that works for you
this is my lesbian flag even if it's not yours
and i'm queer even if people try to silence me by calling it a slur
