@blubfeesh also insofar as more DLC-like, satellaview actually downloaded the games through the cable transmission into a flash cartridge
and i think one of the first home consoles to call it DLC was the dreamcast, though what you were downloading was just a file into your VMU to unlock content that was already hidden in the game disc
@mavica_again Yeah!!! This, just expanded to the 32/64 bit era. It was such a cool concept and I'm sad it didn't keep up over the long term and never really left Japan... ;u;
