i need to make permanent fittings for everything and get much thinner and shorter cables to plug everything together without spaghetti spilling out of every orifice, and then figure out a power solution (i'd like something that the pi can battery monitor on, which seems like nobody has ever done, everybody just plugs a powerbank and prays) but the main concept is solid
so these are the internals otherwise so far
currently everything is double-sided taped down, the internal USB stuff (keyboard, screen) has been soldered straight onto the removed headers to make clearances work, i have a flat cable breakout for hdmi to make that fit in
the ports at the back will be located with a 3D printed plate i need to design yet
i'm still not sure how the screen will attach because id like it to sit at an angle, need to think about a way to hold it in place
@mavica_again hell yeah (pun intended)! half-life 1 is the next test.
@mavica_again oh no, i'm sorry. :<
@mavica_again
Maybe unity8 or one of the forks designed for netbooks/phones?
never assume that just because the connector is the same the polarity is.. i've now repinned the battery but not before probably killing this UPS HAT
which specifically has no diode protection
