Oh, goodie goodie. I'm *required* to use LockDown Browser to take quizzes for my chem class. Now, this would be bad enough on its own (it's a horribly invasive and perfectly useless piece of software), but I can't even install the damn thing! No matter how many times I try redownloading, I always get the same error. And this is before the issues I've heard others have had with getting it to work under Wine. If anyone has suggestions, let me know before midnight, would ya?

@quirk Not an option. It's specifically designed to reject running in a virtual machine.

@auravulpes Get permission to use someone elses windows computer, perhaps remotely using e.g. teamviewer?

@quirk Don't have anyone else to use the computer of. rn, I'm experimenting with hiding VM status. I've found some stuff on hiding from programs that they're running in VMWare, so we'll see if that pans out.
