Tomorrow is the day I go to the doctor, say that I'm trans, and ask for gender care!

This is a long time coming. 20 years ago some friends could tell that I was trans and tried to help me then but anxiety and lack of self-respect made me discount it all. Sadly it also contributed to me pushing some of those friends away without realising it.

It's finally happening. I'm on my journey to be who I really am <3

I do wish I'd been able to come to terms with being trans much earlier, that I could have accepted myself for who I am 20 years ago.

At least it's happening now, better late than never :)

I've probably said this before but in hindsight it's pretty obvious that I knew I was trans when I also knew that I wanted to be a Renamon, that's why being a Renamon girl means so much to me. 💛💜:flag_transgender:

Doctor was REALLY nice and is gonna refer me to the GIC. We also discussed the potential of me seeking private care and he was happy to support me if I choose that route!! 💛💜

@renbymon You got this, hun! So happy that you're now finding yourself! 💜💜💜

@renbymon Oooh, sounds like about the best outcome you could have got! :D
@Bowsette @renbymon Not sure why this made me think "🎵 I'm a Renamon girl, in a Renamon woooorld 🎶"

@renbymon good luck, I hope it goes well (reminds me I really should look into starting the journey too)

@renbymon I wish you the best of luck.
If they are…challenging, just know that it’s not a no. You may just have to do a bit more legwork to force their hand.

@Pipponprops Yeah, like I'm not assuming that I'm gonna go in and come out with a perscription but if anything it's gonna be on my NHS record and I'm gonna ask for a referral to the local GIC.

@renbymon referral will be good. Prescriptions take a bit more effort. I’m sure you’ve read up on it. Or I’ve linked you the amab Herero white girls guide to getting treatment

@Pipponprops could you link it again? brain fart and I can't remember if you have
