so 四月一日から is what it wants
@atinyfairy it would be nice to have been told that by the software trying to teach me japanese
@squirrel @atinyfairy duolingo for japanese would be nice if it told you literally anything about the language instead of expecting you to absorb it from badly designed rote exercises
