It's not because Mastodon/ActivityPub is an open network that there shouldn't be some consensus on what's minimum appropriate behaviour.
Open networks are no excuse for shitty/harmful/... behaviour.
@kellerfuchs @troubleMoney @squirrel I don't see this as shitty or harmful, just content *you* don't want to see. Using Mastodon in this way seems a perfectly legit use-case to me

@squirrel @kellerfuchs @troubleMoney I don't see it as a defeat at all! Prank calls and telemarketing was not the end of the phone, and Mastodon is way better equipped at dealing with bad actor!
