@softgoat although now I've said that the x240 is getting more affordable
basically with thinkpads unless you're buying new then find the model that's 4-6 years old, all the companies that use them tend to be replacing them for new stuff and you can find really good deals on second hand ones
@troubleMoney @softgoat Sometimes you can get 2-3 year ones off of business leases too. My first job in high school was working at a computer repair shop where we’d get off lease T30s, T42s, and equivalent age Dell Latitudes that we’d refurbish, sell the good ones locally and on eBay, and part out the bad ones.
