I love little tiny dev boards running stuff written in simple languages but people'd probably learn a lot more from, I dunno, building a z80 computer from ICs and writing closer to the metal

@troubleMoney @Jo @squirrel sure, the dev boards rule, but it only teaches kids how to use our back-a-few-gen mobile hardware to get ready for a long career writing apps - not going to get a lot of breakthrough thought happening down that track imo

@troubleMoney @Jo @squirrel totally better to start a kid off building a simple understandable system they then can upgrade and enhance over a period of years as their understanding and curiosity both grow
