so after physical therapy today, i now know what a water-cooled computer feels like

(what actually happened is the place i'm going to for physical therapy this time is the place where all the student athletes go, so there is Extreme Money in play. they don't have just icepacks out of a freezer. oh no. they have this machine that circulates water through an appropriately-sized hooked-up pouch shaped like whatever it needs to be for your shoulder or what have you, all at a consistent temperature. like a sous vide machine. except in my case cold)
@aldersprig i just had surgery on my shoulder last week (probably same dang surgery tbh) and honestly i covet the human sous vide machine very much now
unfortunately they're like several thousand dollars. but i Covet It Nonetheless
