What bothers me about "I'm sorry to hear that" as an expression of empathy is that it's worded very similar to "I'm sorry you were offended" and garbage like that.

Why?

What possible benefit do the huge limits have? Do you not realize that the only reason timelines are tolerable is because people can't write more than one paragraph (or two small ones) at a time?

Has anyone actually ever successfully ripped a CD with VLC? IIRC every time I looked into it it didn't seem to work and all the online questions ended up in "I used this other thing instead."
