@LottieVixen@dev.glitch.social Assuming you're new (and I dunno if you want tips, sorry if not) you'd need to colonize a planet or build a frontier outpost (which gives a blob of place to your empire as long as it's there) The RNG on you starting area can be hell.
Its a little unfortunate that you'd almost have to play a game or two just to figure out how things work (and some luck, the game is far from perfect), but doing so is already a large time investment.
