@porsupah That was kind of our thinking over here as well - we were kinda shocked as time went by and it seemed like nobody had any interest in snapping them up. We've gotten more shipments from them than we'd be able to count over the years.
I hope the new owners address some of the quality issues that @scarly pointed out to me a while back that started cropping up a while back.

@Chel @scarly Oof, really? That's not good, especially at the higher prices they tend to charge. (Though, I suppose anything's more expensive than TK/TJ Maxx. Quite how they hit those prices, of course, nobody likes to think about - and it doesn't seem like things actually improve much until you hit the seriously high end stuff, at which point you may as well go with custom commissions..)
What'd be great - if unlikely - is if the new owner not only kept the existing stores open, but /expanded/, taking advantage of the commercial rent collapse. But retail's a very difficult sector - that could only work if they basically could get everything sorted out to go live maybe a year from now, when hopefully the virus will be contained in most parts, and vaccines starting to become widely available.

@Chel *hug!* I'm very pleased. ^_^ I'd thought there /had/ to be someone out there willing to pick them up. Hopefully they'll keep at least some of the stores, too, rather than sending it into online-only land - not that I've used any yet, but for anyone within reach of them, that's got to be a preferable option, being able to actually try stuff on first and see how it fits and hangs on /you/. (At least their returns are as easy as TK/TJ Maxx)
With luck, maybe they'll expand their footwear offerings, too - that's an area women with feet larger than 8/42/10 have been desperately underserved by, despite being quite a large number (a few percent, IIRC - not exactly merely a niche!).
