@slightlyflightyone@vulpine.club @KitsuneAlicia@octodon.social as far as computer monitors go, I think there is a little value in 1440p for particularly large (25 inch & up) displays, but that's basically hitting the point of diminishing returns

but yeah, I can't really think of many uses for 4k and up content, other than simply continuing to push ever more expensive displays 🤦

be nice if they'd just focus on improving the quality of existing display tech, since old CRTs still win in some regards

@legendaryjoeb oh god, I know how that can go. I have more games in my Steam library than I know what to do with, and a small laundry list of indies that I need to get around to trying.

and... yet... I'm still going to be getting Sunless Skies and RE2 the moment they're available 🤦
