@porsupah @Scarly It was a cute little thing! We uh, don't really have any local friends, so it was basically just my parents and Scarly's mom and sis. Court room affair, but the judge was really pleasant and made the whole thing quite fun.

After that we just went out for Italian food, which while not really 'traditional' in any sense, was pleasant and cost efficient.

(this was all after we'd been up all that night prior moving to a new apartment XD)

we went there for takeout and had their brisket and pulled pork, with potato salad and mac n cheese as sides - and a slice of pecan pie for Scarly as dessert... it was all absolutely wonderful
