how does sleep even work?

another day, another online community that i think i need to walk away from. 😬

i constantly impress myself with my ability to stumble into places that i am just incapable of meshing well with. attempting to be social is difficult and exhausting

spent the entire weekend watching horror stuff and ignoring the Real World™️, only to be swiftly reminded afterward that that's where the real horror is

Maplestory 2 has consumed my soul and much of my time.

I need to get back to diversifying how I spend my time... starting tomorrow, because holy crud I’m tired

(and speaking of ms2 if anyone on the west coast server is interested in a no-pressure, casual guild, join Pink )

welp, maplestory 2 is out. time to start trying to convince everyone i know to give it a try

i keep joining forums, posting in them for a little while and then discovering that i don't actually care for most of the active members

maplestory 2 has more or less consumed my life, in a good way.

for the first time in... a fair while... I have a working drawing tablet

@scarly (right) and i have gone all in on Maplestory 2. this game is so cute and ridiculous, i friggin love it

we made a dumb gay guild in it, called Pink.

actually getting sleep? it's like a wonderful and magical thing that I need to do more often

blagh... early in the evening and I'm just... impossibly tired.

I bought a cantaloupe. this was apparently one of the greatest mistakes I've made in a long time.

my neck and shoulders are impossibly stiff and I have no idea why. bluhhh.

i swear, few things in life have as restorative an effect on me as a big plate of Thai food

I used to get it super spicy, but my tolerance seems to have dropped a lot lately

I think I'm probably entirely too excited to play Maplestory 2.

And now to attempt to forcibly snap myself out of my Monday morning haze and start working on some cold brew.

I struggle a lot with admittedly irrational feelings that my presence in social spaces - online or otherwise - is something that is, at best, just really annoying to those around me.

I wish the crappy parts of my brain wouldn't spend so much time and energy trying to convince myself that I should just pack up and wallow in self-imposed isolation. 😅

anyhow, that's my complaint post of the week. o3o
