So, what is ecofascism and why is it bad?

You may have seen tweet/posts like

"nature is recovering due to the virus, humans are the disease"

The humans dying from this virus are disabled, poor and workers who have no choice but to work.

So tweets/posts like this frame the deaths of the sick and vulnerable as good because they reduce the 'burden' on the earth.

"poor/sick people are a burden on the world so they need to die for the good of others" is pretty similar in concept to 'useless eaters'

It also takes the blame of harm caused by the rich and powerful and onto poor and disabled people.

It treats many dying needlessly as a 'natural' occurrence rather than the artificial result of the capitalist systems of cruelty.

fascism and eugenics is still such when you coat it in green paint.
