COVID
So last night, I was thinking about a local-ish convention that's happening soon and whether or not I really wanted to go to a nerd convention during coronavirus season.
As it turns out, that's no longer a concern since they officially canceled the event.
I already came to terms with how I wouldn't be going and seeing friends there, and I was mostly worried about finding the friend I was rooming with a place, so I'm more relieved than anything else right now, honestly.

I'd hoped 4 years ago a bunch of people in my peer groups would learn the results you expect are guaranteed are likely the result if your filter bubble and if you decide as a block to not do the work because you're so sure you're not needed, you're going to be disappointed.
