So I woke up, and picked up my Switch before even getting out of bed and started playing Animal Crossing. And, yay, I unlocked town hall! Yay, Isabelle is here! Yay, I set a town theme and flag! Yay, I'm building another bridge!

...and then it hits me like a ton of bricks that it wasn't even 9am yet and my day already peaked. This was the only thing I had to look forward to, and it was done. Basically nothing good awaits me today. Or any foreseeable day right now.

I forgot I ordered this print a while back, it came in the mail yesterday and when I opened it this afternoon I started ugly laughing. I can't get a frame for it right now, so it's attached to the sleeve it came in and propped on the shelf near my record player. "Everything Is Fine", indeed.

Donna Jackson is the longest lasting employee at iD Software.

She was hired as an office caretaker during the production of Wolfenstein 3D when the guys realized they can't keep their office in any reasonable shape. She was quickly nicknamed "iD Mom" as she took care of organizing what initially looked more like a teenager's living space instead of an office.

During her time at iD she also acquired experience in game design and playtesting. She still runs the iD Software office today and is the first person to greet you at the lobby.
