Metronormativity, ableism
So I recently came across the term metronormativity in a podcast called /Queer and it is sadly my situation and how I feel, it points out that Queerness and 'Intelligence' is only expected of Urban areas, that if you want to be queer successfully and have a physical support network you have to move to the city which is not an option for all.
I feel like more people should consider and be aware of this, so that us more rural folks aren't left behind both in terms of support and relationships. As well as the casual ableism which goes with the thinking about us.
