@revenant It's always a good time to just watch them all

@revenant In the grim darkness of the far future, legos are the only currency
When I was younger, I had a very bitter outlook on humanity despite (or maybe because of) having a generally sheltered and poor understanding of it. Now that I'm older and have a much clearer perception of the ills of society, though, I'm trying a lot harder to just be kind to people and be optimistic about the ability of our actions to create a better future

@Raspberryfloof I'm sorry you're going through this, and it's something I can relate to on many levels. If you'd like somebody to talk to, I'm here for you
@revenant It's pretty nice. It's got remappable controls, auto-explore, much more effective searching, warnings for doing obviously bad things, easily customized autopickup, a more helpful interface, etc. It also has some rebalancing that makes suddenly facing an unavoidable death much less common, especially in the early game. There's some more info on it here: https://nethackwiki.com/wiki/FIQHack
In light of this, I have been playing FIQHack, which is a NetHack variant with some quality-of-life features that make it significantly less tedious to actually play
@squirrel_ebooks I'm glad to see my work is popular with robots
Here are the cats I'm pet sitting. Their names are Jimmy and Tofu, respectively

@Raspberryfloof I like it a lot! It has a nice jazzy flavor to it
I was playing with the cats using some of the toys that the owners left, and I wound up liking one of the toys more than the cats did. It's basically a Chinese finger trap made with finely woven plastic. It's very springy, and it seems like a good stim toy. They're apparently called Kitty Fun Tubesโข
