@maple well I have a ps2 slim from aaaaages back. got that sucker used, mostly to use as a dvd player, and a console for my PS1 games, aaand for the odd Ps2 game I picked up used (like Klonoa 2 omg)

It sat unused for many years after I moved out though, until I recently got it hooked up to a samsung lcd tv a few years back...

... and immediately regretted it bepcause hhggghg god the visual quality is bloody awful
