the four fossils in Swoosh are deliberately crimes against nature and life itself (seriously oh god why does the game let you create such abominations and make them suffer for our amusement Arceus WHY) because they're a direct callout of the UK fucking up paleontology
but uh... I ONLY JUST found out that the "scientist"'s name in the game who makes them is a pun

I haven't seen any new fossilmonsters but "crimes against nature and life itself" sounds like an exciting direction for Pokémon. :D

@g they are terrible creatures that exist only for our amusement and their own suffering and I hate that the game lets you make them but also I am VERY VERY DEEPLY AMUSED by the fact it's calling the UK out on their previous fuckery with dino bones.
