Actually talking about Road Rash now tbh
Like I mean I have literally never played a BAD Road Rash game. Not even Road Rash pc/ps1/3do was THAT bad. It played just like the original 3 games, just with jazzed up visuals. Jailbreak and 3d were way way better as was 64 but it was still a good road Rash game. It wasn't a bad, or unfun game at all. :D Road Redemption is pretty good too as a Road Rash style game.

Like I discovered Celldweller through Roadrash Jailbreak (an early version of their song Symbiont) and loved it so much I spent ages tracking down the actual CD until I finally managed to buy it. I was kinda startled that the album version was different to the tracks I'd heard before when mp3.com was a thing and functioned a bit more like Soundcloud does.
Not disappointed tho. The album versions were def. better.

Oh heck I just found out how to do the Showtime thing where you flip yoru car and try to collide with as much as possible using your boost to keep your car moving and I forgot how much fun that was in the original OMG yesssss
also this game needs a way better soundtrack.
like okay there's a few good tracks but it's not like the PS1 roadrash games' music tracks. those three games had legit music in them.

Me after getting sick of failing to do ANY event with the 500Gt because it's a pile of shit iceblock masquerading as a car in an otherwise pretty fun game: "okay fine gonna play as an aggression boost car and just do some road rages"
Me: *immediately after completing said event, wrecks my car against a bus* "Hah! Guess you could say I really ... =w=
BUSted my car up!"

Well I mean I did set the difficulty to "casual" so yeah. Tbh I feel maybe the playtesting wasn't so great on this bit because the enemies in this segment are very unbalanced and take so much damage to take down, which is a shame because otherwise it's been great.

@WeeMadHamish@octodon.social nah I think it's posible local team was scoring sufficient muffincoins or whatever they are, and then they all got really rowdy at gone 1am and someone who was not watching the leg-sphere who had work tomorrow and wanted a good night's sleep decided to impress upon them the trials and tribulations of having work the next morning and the difficulty of sleeping when people are loud outside.
